Ancient Chamorro warriors were proficient in hand to hand combat. For weapons they used; slings, spears and clubs. They also fashioned helmets, and breastplates to protect against their opponents weapons.
Before the Spanish, local conflicts arose from disputes, and issues related to honor. They were fierce fighters, and masters of ambushing their adversaries.
